What you do in Duskora

Keep your crew alive

Every crew member has health, food, water, energy and morale. They eat, drink and sleep by themselves — as long as you give them a kitchen, a well-stocked store and a bed.

Build tile by tile

Walls, doors and floors make rooms; beds, a medical bed, a warehouse, a kitchen and a workshop make a home. Rooms stay lit at night and keep your people warm.

Farm, cook and craft

Plant potatoes and carrots, grow trees for timber, cook quality meals, smelt ore into metal and make tools, spears and wagons in the workshop.

A shared world map

The planet is divided into sectors. Send caravans with or without a wagon to trade, visit friends, camp in the field or attack — everyone can see who is on the road.

Tribes with a memory

River folk and stone kin trade with you, ask for help and send gifts when you are friends. Raiders come for your stores. Every tribe remembers how you treated it.

Clans and levels

Found a clan and settle side by side with its members. Your level rises with everything your crew does, unlocking new buildings and recipes up to level 80.

How your first hour goes

  1. Crash. You land with one crew member on their feet; a friend lies hurt somewhere nearby.
  2. Salvage. Take the lander apart for tools, water, medkits, seed potatoes and metal.
  3. Shelter. Fell trees, raise walls and a door, and build a medical bed.
  4. Rescue. Carry your friend to the bed. A third crew member joins you at level 5.
  5. Grow. Plant crops, set up a warehouse and a kitchen, and look at the world map.

Free, in your browser, with others

Duskora runs in any modern browser on a desktop or laptop; there is nothing to install. Your colony keeps its state while you are away, and a short summary tells you what happened when you come back.

New players are protected from attacks by other players until they reach level 5 or have played for a week — whichever comes first. Attacking someone yourself gives that protection up.
